Celebrate With The Force: An Epic Star Wars Birthday Bash!

by on Feb 02, 2015

Is there a birthday party in the stars in the near future? Host a great galactic occasion for your little Star Wars fan, with promises of adventure and excitement.

The Force is strong with this one, so let’s get started right away! We all know the main elements of the perfect party are the invite, the games and the food. So gather those guardians of peace and justice for the best party in the universe!

The Jedi Academy Awaits, Luke

This galactic gathering can be an awesome space party and it is super easy to go online to purchase the supplies all at once, in order to have lots of time to plan the games and food needed for a sensational event. Get with the theme right from the start with super cool Star Wars invitations. Send out the notifications from the Jedi council in plenty of time in order to know how many to expect for Jedi training!

As the party goers arrive, have Star Wars theme music playing to welcome them. Hand out Jedi training outfits, which can be easily made with brown fabric. Cut a slit for the head and tie a piece of white yarn around the waist of each child and they are geared up for a fabulous time.

Let the games and laughter begin! A memory game is always a challenge, and we know these Jedi warriors are looking to fulfil their destiny. Gather several Star Wars items such as a mini light saber, a moon rock and a mask to name a few. Give the kids just a few seconds to look at the items and then see how many they can list in 1 minute!

The Academy is looking for strong warriors, and warriors who know how to laugh! Put the trainees through the paces with an obstacle course. Set up a course to test the supreme skill of the fighters by having them crawl under several chairs, jump through hanging Hula Hoops and navigate around tires, all while pushing or carrying a large ball!

Set up a space station photo booth in the outer area of the galaxy. Let the kids pose with a Star wars character. Purchase or make a life size Stormtrooper or Darth Vader figure. Be sure to provide masks, Princess Leia hair buns and a light saber! Print out a great photo to include in the loot bag of each attendee.

Now is the time to surprise the kids with their very own light saber to take home after the party. Safe and fun light sabers can be made out of pool noodles, black electrical tape and a bit of duct tape. Use your imagination and see what you come up with or look online for ideas. The warriors can have marvelous fun hitting a balloon back and forth. Don’t let it touch the ground!

Refuel The Star Cruiser, Han Solo

Get strong with the Force in a galaxy far, far away and hang a black curtain decorated with strings of lights behind the table for a sensational starlit atmosphere. Place figurines, such asLuke Skywalker or a Stormtrooper in the middle of the table for magnificent star power. On the outer edges of the table, place the plates and napkins where the little ones can reach them easily as they will be sure to fill their plates!
